Quality Assurance Testing

Our value-added quality assurance department is unique to the Machine Building Industry. We offer quality assurance services as an extra service for our clients. Instead of giving you printouts, Altron can supply all of the data downloaded into Microsoft Excel, and other software programs. Below you will find information about our horizontal arm and portable coordinate measuring machines, along with a listing of our quality assurance services.

Portable Coordinate Measuring Machine: Our Portable CMM is a Faro Arm Platinum Series 12' with Cam 2 Measure software. The Cam 2 Measure offers complete quality control functions with +/-.0029 2Sigma single point accuracy and reverse engineering with surfacing capabilities.
Services: In House or On Site Our quality assurance services include scribe layouts and first piece inspection layouts. We also offer fixture approvals and repeatability testing, along with process capability testing. We also program and utilize, an ASI DataMyte DM4000 to assist in data collection from Customer check fixtures.
